Dementia Chorus sessions happen on Wednesday afternoons from 2-3.30pm. From 5 February 2025, we'll be at Hythe Cricket & Squash Club, Ladies Walk, Hythe, CT21 6AX.
Who is Dementia Chorus for?
Dementia Chorus welcomes people living with dementia, and supporters.
Do I or we need to come along every week?
We understand that from time to time you may not be able to come through illness, appointments, having a particularly bad day or due to special occasions and that's fine. You'll be welcome back any time, as long as we have a space.
Is there a cost to attend Dementia Chorus sessions?
Sessions are free to attend, thanks to Age UK Hythe, Lyminge & Ashford and the Age UK Innovation Fund.
Is booking required to come to Dementia Chorus sessions?
Where possible, do get in touch with Age UK Hythe to make sure that we know to expect you for the session you want to come along to. You can either call 01303 269 602 or email admin@ageukhla.org.uk
I’m not a confident singer, but I love music. Is the Dementia Chorus accessible for me?
Absolutely; our experienced Choir Director will make sessions inclusive for a variety of levels of confidence, and musical expression. If you'd like to know more before coming along to a session, get in touch.
