Nova Marshall and Emily Watts run sessions at ADSS in Gravesend

In March 2022, Bright Shadow was asked by ADSS (Alzheimer Dementia Support Services) in Gravesend to run some creative sessions for their service users. Artist Nova Marshall ran a series of sessions in which the participants tried out monoprinting, created origami spring birds from their own printed paper and made note books which they used the following week to paint still lifes in water colours.

After this, Musician Emily Watts took the group members on multi sensory, imagined visits to an English Country Garden, the USA and the Swinging Sixties.

The sessions were great and so was Nova. She worked well with the people we support, and I know our guys really enjoyed the sessions and the chance to be creative.
