After training as a nurse, and many years working across the NHS and various voluntary and statutory services, I launched my own management consultancy company in 2008. I hold a number of non-executive director, governor and director roles including Lead Governor and co-chair of committees with East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust, Founding Member of the Academy for Social Justice Commissioning Board based in the Ministry of Justice, school governor and vice chair of several schools across the sectors and demographics, VCSE steering group member, Primary Care Network member, variously chair and trustee of several diverse non-profit organisations and previous Town Councillor. Passionate about equality, fairness, courtesy and liberty I work cross sector but my partnerships and work in the Beyond Profit sector are my comfort zone. I am excited and delighted to be part of the remarkable and impactful organisation that is Bright Shadow.
